Specializing in:

  • NKT (NeuroKinetic Therapy): finding faulty motor-firing patterns and reestablishing efficient integrative movement. 
  • IKN (Integrated Kinetic Neurology): IKN merges practical neuroscience & musculoskeletal/orthopedic rehabilitation strategies to mobilize the multiple levels of our movement generation/control system in order to facilitate positive change. 
  • FRC (Functional Range Conditioning: increasing joint range of motion and force production throughout an entire spectrum of movement, bulletproofing joints 
  • Anatomy in Motion: Restoring lost movement-the goal is to shine a light on unknown limitations and guide you to restore lost movement patterns through movement and other therapeutic approaches.
  • Functional/Neural Cranial-Sacral + Neuro-teeth: working with the bones, sutures, ligaments, and nerves as they relate to motor control, vestibular system, smell, visual (sensitivity to light, tracking issues, and how the eyes act in relation to other joints/movements), and the variousdiaphragms of the body (
  • Visceral Manipulation: slow, mindful manipulation of ligamentous, fascial, or organ structures in the visceral cavities. 
  • Neurofascial release: (mobilizing the nerve-fascia interface): TMJ dysfunction (intra-oral certified), headaches, chronic neck and shoulder dysfunction; TOS (thoracic outlet), CTS (carpal tunnel syndrome); pelvic entrapment, sciatica, plantar fasciitis. 
  • Deep Myofascial Release: which may include deep, slow release of the structures of muscles, tendons, ligaments, or relationships of tissue and bones statically or with movement.

  • Manual and Movement Therapy

    Sarah is a manual and movement specialist who desires to make each client functionally optimal, whatever that means to your daily life. Whether that's for performance-climbing, golfing, tennis, surfing, baseball, horseback riding, etc., or relief of pain-carpal tunnel, TMJ dysfunction, muscle and nerve impingements, plantar fasciitis, rotator cuff tears, etc.

    Sarah blends structural and orthopedic massage and bodywork with movement assements and/or somatic and movement exploration to facilitate and encourage new proprioception, body awareness, and ease of movement for you. 

    She is a 200-hour registered yoga instructor based in the Iyengar/alignment based philosophy. 

    She received her 550 hour pilates teacher certification through Vitality Pilates in Seattle where she has been teaching since Feb. 2012

    She is a Level 3 Master NKT practitioner which allows her to hone in on faulty movement patterns and reestablish functional movement. 

    She holds a two year massage degree as well as hundreds of hours of continuing education related to bodywork and movement. 

  • Organic Sourdough Bread

    Fresh made organic sourdough bread by me in the Tartine style. Give me three days notice and I'll have a fresh loaf for you to pick up in either the Victory Heights (NE) or Green Lake neighborhood of Seattle. In the notes section let me know what flavors you like-sweet, savory, plain, etc.
